It is most common in very young children but can occur at any age, particularly in hot and humid weather. An infant does not sweat. The sweat is held within the skin and forms little red bumps ...Read more

Not an emergency: Doesn't sound like an emergency to me. Cool compresses might help. Find out if there is something that you are ingesting, applying locally, (sun screen?) or maybe your detergent or fabric softener. Could be an allergic reaction to a medicine that you are taking. A doctor's visit should do the trick. It will save you lots of time and money over going to the emergency room ...Read more

Baby acne?: It's likely to be baby acne at his age, assuming that he is otherwise well and feeding normally. Baby acne tends to occur right around this age and looks like red bumps that get redder and stand out more when baby is upset or just after a bath. This goes away on its own in a few weeks. It is caused by maternal hormones that crossed through the placenta. No treatment is needed. ...Read more

Possible: looking at the rash in the picture without actually seeing the patient will suspected a viral lesion condyloma contagiosum. This can occur in patients with weakened immune system if you took Prednisone. It will spread by scratching it. It will usually resolve after a long time without treatment. Use anti itch meds may help. A visit to a Dermatologist may clarify diagnosis and help in management ...Read more
