Foolish?: I am not sure what your red bumps are but if you pick these they could be come infected and could develop a cellulitis. I would see your doc and have him /her review what is ongoing. Needs work up : Could be fungal infection of the scalp, folliculitis, etc. Needs KOH prep of the scalp skin scraping from affected areas. Based on the diagnosis treatment can be advised, I am hoping he was seen by a dermatologist. ...Read more
