Could be a few thing: A raised bump in the buttock region could be various things. A cyst can occur (from an plugged follicle) and become inflamed and painful. Other lesions such as a wart, skin tag, infections, or even a type of tumor can grow in this region. Don't give up.: Warts are caused by a virus that your immune system does not mount much of a response to. They require multiple treatments every few weeks in order to clear. You can also try soaking the wart for 10 minutes every night in lukewarm water, then filing away the soft part with a nail file.
