See a podiatrist: There are many things a black to purple spot can be. It could be a bruise, blood blister, a mole, or some other skin lesion. I would recommend seeing a podiatrist or dermatologist. See your derm: While skin cancer in a 21 year old is rare, it does occur occasionally. Any new skin lesion or one that is changing should be brought to the attention of your dermatologist.

Use an acne wash, apply an otc benzoyl peroxide cream on it twice daily and stop eating nuts and peanut butter. Also cut out all chocolate, and reduce the milk, cheese, and dairy intake.
