My son has a small pea sized lump 3" below his right armpit its very soft and does not hurt its been 3 wk and he's is 12. He has only mild allergies?

For some people it can become a big recurring problem so best to get it examined if,unlike the other side, it doesn't resolve in a few days.Until then, see if you are sensitive to your deodorant. The topical antibacterial gels with aloe work well but if you sweat a lot you may need something milder. ...Read more

Probably a cyst: Cysts are small, firm bumps under the skin that are filled with keratin. When squeezed, some will produce the keratin which is white, cheesy and sometimes stinky. Sometimes, if it is not clearly a cyst, we can biopsy the spot to be sure. ...Read more
