Ok so i popped a small pimple like protrusion in my genital area . It was very firm and i bled quite a bit from it. I have others. May be spreading
Many possibilities: Herpes is often a consideration for pimple-like genital lesions. However, a lot depends on details: Exact location? Evolution from red bump to blister to pimple or sore over a few days, like herpes. Unchanging bumps over 2+ days not herpes. Actual pimples, warts, and molluscum contagiosum may be possible. I have recently seen some bites on my upper thigh and even a couple on my genital area and they look like small pimples and itchy with redness?
Many possibilities: Any of several skin conditions could cause this. Although people often assume insect bites, it's an uncommon cause. But I do wonder about scabies, or perhaps pubic lice (crabs). Or folliculitis, i.e. hair follicle inflammation, especially if you shave the area. No STD is a likely cause. See a doctor or clinic if more spots keep appearing or if not clearing up in a few days.
