Small Painful Lump On Vagina
Found huge lump on vagina wall, bout an inch into the vagina and it's about quarter sized, very painful, rock hard? Can someone tell me what this is?
Probably not herpes: Herpes doesn't cause things like this. Herpes lesions are superficial -- blisters, pimples, and sores that are sort of like "on" the skin. Boils, typical acne, etc well up from below; think of them as starting "in" the skin. This isn't a hard and fast rule, but a single large boil is never herpes. But see a doctor if you remain concerned and/or at risk for STDs. Good luck! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have 3 small to medium non painful moveable lumps on the inside of my vagina lips towards the hood. These lumps do not hurt and are not noticeable?
I have a small pea sized hard lump on the back inside of my vagina. No really painful. Do I need to have to looked at right away or monitor it awhile?
Monitoring OK: So long as the lump is not causing you any problems and not growing, it may be safe to wait and watch. You're young an so long as you don't have a history of immune deficiency or STDs, it might just be a vaginal cyst which will not harm you at your age. I would still pursue routine GYN care though. ...Read more

Bartholin cyst: What you described is likely to be a cyst due to blockage of the duct of a gland. It is not a cause for concern, unless it gets infected. If it does not get bigger, is not painful, then you may wait till your next visit to the doctor to have it examined. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine. ...Read more

What does it mean to have painful knots (lumps) in the pubic area on side of vagina...I heard it comes in the place of sickness?
Lymph nodes?: It sounds like you are describing swollen lymph nodes in your groin area. You are correct that your lymph nodes swell in response to an infection in the area. For example, if you had genital herpes, your groin lymph nodes would swell. If you had strep throat, your neck lymph nodes would swell. If this is a new symptom, you might want to get it checked by a doctor to rule out an infection. ...Read more
