Normal sized anteverted uterus with thickened endometrium ovarian cysts, bilateral normal sonogram of the cervix?
Question?: This sounds like the impression from a pelvic sonogram. Let me organize it for youl 1. Anteverted uterus with thickened endometrium (usually not important but depends on age, mentrual cycle and degree of thinking. 2. Bilateral ovarian cysts - not uncommon, need to know sizes and number of cysts. 3. Normal cervix. I hope this helps. ...Read more
TVUSG report says: "Bulky uterus with small subserous fibroids. Thickened endometrium. Small cysts in ovaries." Period late by 15days. Please advice?
Depends: I think the small subserous fibroids are a non-issue. More like an incidental finding. The rest (thickened endometrium, small cysts in ovaries, late period) can all be explained with something like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). If you are trying to conceive then you will likely need to see a physician for help with ovulation induction (using medications). Losing weight can also help. ...Read more
Going through menopause. T-vag says endo stripe is 0.4 cm, small post.Uterin fibroid 0.9cm, some benign nabothian cysts in cervix. Anything worrisome?
No worries.: A small uterine fibroid is usually asymptomatic and is not dangerous. A fibroid will usually shrink after menopause from decreasing estrogen levels. Your endometrial stripe is also normal. Nabothian cysts are also normal . None of these findings pose any risk to your health. ...Read more
Uterus-Measures 9.1 cm.
Endometrial echo complex measures 1.0 cm.
13 mm lower uterine fibroid.
Nonvisualized left ovary
Not necessarily: It is more likely to be a fibroid or something benign. Uterine cancer typically starts on the lining of the uterus and can then grow into the muscle. But if the lining was not thick on the ultrasound, then the chance of cancer is smaller. A nodule within the wall/ muscle of the uterus is more likely a fibroid. Please follow up w your gyn. ...Read more
Complex ovarian cyst w/intern.Septations, submuc. Fibroids, nabothian cysts, liver cyst, hernia. All new w/in last 8 weeks. Possible cancer? Type?
Slow down a bit...: Ok, you have a lot of issues just recently identified. I'm doubtful you have any cancer. Your biggest concern appears to be the ovarian cyst, which is probably benign, but you need to be evaluated by your gyn. The hernia is an elective process, and the liver cyst is probably congenital. Fibroids and nabothian cyst can also be evaluated by your gyn. Take a breath and make an appointment. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Fibroids: The muscle of your uterus looks irregular. While this can be due to endometriosis it is most frequently caused by small fibroids. This finding like all lab or x-ray findings is best understood in the context of your symptoms which led to the testing. Lacking that context and your medical history, it is difficult to say more. ...Read more
Pelvic ultrasound(trans-veg.)shows-acutely anteverted smallish uterus-47 X 32X46 mm. right ovary endometriotic & a haemorrhagic cyst18mm-is it bad?
What means? Uterus is normal, 2-3 small nabothian cyst on CX, Minimum fluid seen in cervical canal, both ovaries increased stroma and small follicles.
Break it down: The uterus or womb is normal. This means not enlarged and no mass or tumor. A nebothian cyst are small like zits on the surface of the cervix. They are very common and do not represent a disease process to be worried about. Increase in stroma means more than average tissue holding the ovaries together and small follicles is a way of saying that there are no large ovarian cysts present. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Pelvic ultrasound(trans-veg.)shows-acutely anteverted smallish uterus-47X32X46 mm. right ovary looks endometriotic& a haemorrhagic cyst18mm-is it bad?
See your provider: This sounds like a normal size uterus and normal size ovary. Endometriomas are ovarian cysts which contain old blood in them. 18 mm is pretty small. If you haven't had it, you might still benefit from a laparoscopy to look for and treat endometriosis especially if you have 4 years of infertility. You might also need reproductive endocrinologist (infertility specialist) if you haven't already. ...Read more
No: A simple cyst has a very specific benign appearance, while a cystadenocarcinoma usually has characteristics that are pathognomonic for a complex mass. A benign hemorrhagic cyst may resemble a worrisome cystadenoca. If you are worried about an ovarian cyst, talk to your doctor. You can do an ultrasound in 4-6 weeks. If it is a cancer, it will not be the same size or have the same characteristics. ...Read more
