What are some causes for small bumps with a clear liquid, like blisters, to pop up on your hands and feet? I am a diabetic, but have kept it in check with my diet. Other than that these blisters come up at times and sometimes they don't.

Need more info: Blisters on the backs of hands could be insect bites of some sort, but autoimmune blistering diseases like bullous pemphigoid can also do this. A more rare condition called porphyria cutanea tarda also often has blisters on the backs of the hands as the main issue, and a related disease called "pseudoporphyria" can also do this.
