Can i ask to be induced at 37 weeks if i believe baby is too big already (7lbs) and cramped inside since i'm small? Cervix is thinning but no dilation
Unlikely to happen: Given the frequency of breathing problems in newborns induced at 37 wks, i think it unlikely you could talk your way into that one.I believe the american college of obgyn has issued guidelines that question the practice. Early delivery for fetal distress & various maternal complications is still considered good care. ...Read more

I haven't had a pap in the last 6 years and have history of abnormal pap now I feel tree small bumps on My cervix now I'm worry it could be cáncer?
Pap procrastination: PP, or Pap Procrastination is a "disease" that afflicts many women who often hear from "official sources" that they can wait and have a pap every 3 to 5 years. Since you had a "abnormal pap" in the first place that advice does not apply to you. Yes, it could be cancer so see a GYN MD without further delay which will at least cure the PP syndrome. ...Read more

Why do uterine fibroids cause such horrible pain and heavy periods? I have two small ones near my cervix.
Depends on location: It sounds like these are submucous fibroids, meaning they are inside the uterine cavity. Submucous fibroids don't have to be very buff to cause problems like heavy bleeding. The cramps tend to be worse because the uterus is contracting to try and get rid of them, but of course it can't since they are attached. The can be resected using Hysteroscopy as an outpatient. ...Read more

Suffering from reoccurring yeast infections. Noticed small hard bump on cervix. Partner and I were tested for STD's a few months ago and all was clear?
Not yeast or STD: Yeast wouldn't do this. The only STD that might is a genital wart, but cervical warts usually are flat, can't be felt with the finger. The most common cause of such a bump probably is a Nabothian cyst, which isn't really abnormal at all. To be safe, see your doctor and get it checked out. Also, treatment can prevent recurrent yeast. Ask your doctor about taking fluconazole (Diflucan®) once a week. ...Read more
