Hi. I have a single small red non painful and non itchy bump on my forearm and it have lasted for 2 weeks.

Red bump in forearm: I need more information. For how long you had it?, does id become white to compression? has it grown during the last 6-12 months? Does it bleed to trauma? . There are about 31 causes such as: hemangioma, keratosis pilaris dermatofibromas, cherry angioma, mosquito bites, etc. Laser therapy will get rid of the lesion. First must be inspected by a dermatologist

Could small, itchy bumps on my forearm be hives? If so, how quickly can hives occur?

Yes.: Hives can come up very quickly - as you watch, sometimes. But there are many other causes of "small itchy bumps" - without more information it's hard to narrow it down. Your best option is to let a dermatologist look at them and tell you for sure what they are.

I have small bumps under my skin, mostly on my forearm. They are cyst like and itchy. Could itbe neurofibroma?

I have small bumps under my skin, mostly on my forearm. They are cyst like and itchy. Could itbe neurofibroma?

Doubt it: If you had neurofibromatosis, you should have been diagnosed at a much younger age. Neurofibromas are characteristically firm, as they are solid nerve tumors, rather than cystic structures. Itching is not a typical symptom of a neurofibroma, rather a symptom reflecting allergy or inflammation. A contact dermatitis or other skin condition sounds more likely. See your pcp or a dermatologist.

Poison ivy?: Cluster of skin lesions could be from poison ivy to herpes simplex, and many different conditions. Poison ivy type of contact allergy should have some history of exposure. If it stays on one area for a long time without spreading, herpes simplex maybe considered.

I have itchy red bumps on both forearms they itch and have small white tips and scabs on them and are slowly spreading could this be scabies?

Possible but: White tip is unusual for scabies unless the lesions got infected from scratching. Scabies usually affects the other parts of the body before getting to the forearms. See your doctor.

I have a single small red non-painful, non-itchy bump on forearm and it's been 2 weeks. Is it related to HIV rash? It is lighter in colour compress.

Can't tell: If you have had skin lesion from HIV, then there is a possibility that they are related. On the other hand, most skin lesions are not caused by HIV.

Many causes: One often think of tropical diseases and bug bites. However you should see your pediatrician to check this out. Sometimes it may just be from a viral infection.

I have a rash on forearms & thighs. Skin colored, slightly pink. Not itchy. Small bumps all over, not patchy. Possibly allergic reaction to z-pack?

I have a rash on forearms & thighs. Skin colored, slightly pink. Not itchy. Small bumps all over, not patchy. Possibly allergic reaction to z-pack?

Many possibilities: This could be a reaction to a z-pac, a new food, or some other exposure. I would hold stop the med for now and contact your pcp in the am. S/he may want to change the med or have you evaluated. This med is going to be in your system for a while. So more rash may continue to come up for some time.

I have small itchy bumps on my arm and one is blistering. What can this be?

I have small itchy bumps on my arm and one is blistering. What can this be?

Doctor can evaluate: Rashes are very difficult to describe in words, so an exam by a primary care doctor and/or a dermatologist is helpful, when the rash is present. Sometimes rashes occur from bug bites, fungus/yeast, reactions with chemicals, irritants, plants, allergens, etc... Itching makes it more likely an allergic rash or bug bites. If one cannot go to the doctor, a video consult on HealthTap PRIME may help.

Scabies: Please see your health care provider to assess if you have scabies and to get you a correct assessment and treatment for what you both may have.

Allergy: Most likely an allergic reaction to something that he has been in contact with. If they are fluid filled blisters and he has not been vaccinated against chicken pox, that is possible although we don't see chicken pox often nowadays because most children are immunized against it.

Recently started seeing small flesh colored bumps on pubic area, legs, arm, and under butt. Doesn't really "pop". Not a bunch, not itchy or painful?!

Tough to say: Without an exam, it is tough to say what your bumps are. Best that you get a dr. To do and exam and physically look at the areas to determine the correct diagnosis. Good luck.

Very small white itchy bumps on half arm spreading fast around tinea versicolor patch.?

Keratosis Pilaris: It sounds like you have a condition called keratosis pilaris. This causes tiny, rough prickly bumps to form on the backs of the arms, the thighs, the buttocks and occasionally on the face. A mild exfoliating skin cream with 12% ammonium lactate used once to twice a day will smooth these areas out nicely. If you have itch, a mild cortisone cream from your doctor can help.

Do you know why?: Have you ever had a rash like this before? How badly does it itch? Where all is the rash located now? Do any of the people you have contact with have the rash? Where have you been lately? Your itchiness of your rash may be relieved with over-the-counter steroid cream, but seeing your Doctor will help you figure out what it is and you can get thorough treatment.
