Well: Most likely these are HPV venerial warts. Also the tender area can be infection or it can be inflamed infected lymph node from an STD. Yeast/pimples: probably NOT. vaginal yeast infections are exactly that - vaginal. It sounds like you may have had two small infected hair follicles - folliculitis that have at least partially resolved (as this can) on their own. I would avoid trying to "pop" them and use moist heat or simply monitor the remaining one. ...Read more

I have a small light purple bump on the inside of my leg right at the edge of my groin. It's about pea shaped. What do I do?

Skin lump: You'll need to see a doctor in person to get a diagnosis of this little lump, and to decide what to do for it. Maybe it'll go away on its own, but it might need to be removed in the office. For now, try some warm soaks, 20 minutes twice a day. If it gets larger, hurts, or turns red, see someone right away. ...Read more

Get seen: We can't give an opinion without seeing it, even if you send a photo. It may be common tinea cruris, candida, or erythrasma. Each is treated differently. Or it may be warts / HPV. If the bumps are stable, that's what I'm betting. ...Read more

7 days after protected sex and unprotected oral. I have a small red area where my leg & groin area meet. No bumps, is this from underwear or herpes???

Red area: Its more likely a skin yeast if its in this area. Herpes would have blisters showing up. In the middle of winter and during swimming season we see a fair amount of tinea (yeast) infections near the underwear line. Try some lotrimin (clotrimazole) and see if that helps. ...Read more

I have a small red, slightly raised, bump at the bottom of my bum, toward my groin area. It is painless and itchless. The skin is not broken. Herpes?

Furuncle or 'pimple': This sounds like a small localized cutaneous abscess of the skin-we usually call these 'furuncles' or 'pimples' in common language. If it's still bothering you, I would show it to a doctor. They can drain it, if it is large enough, or help you with some antibiotic therapy. Staph infections are quite common in the groin- and I suspect that's what it is. Herpes, in contrast, is a blistery and HURTS! ...Read more

I have a lot of small and very few big bumps on my inner upper thigh closer to my groin area. Sometimes they contain pus. Is it just razor burn?

I have a lot of small and very few big bumps on my inner upper thigh closer to my groin area. Sometimes they contain pus. Is it just razor burn?

----Lust for pus----: If you shaved there, then yes, it could be. But razor burn that has become infected. If it doesn't go away in a few days after a few good scrubs with soap and washcloth then you will most likely need an antibiotic. It may be something else, but with infection comes pus so no matter what it is, it needs to be evaluated by a doctor. P.S.: After scrubbing, apply a thin layer of an antibiotic ointment ...Read more
