Not likely: Boil water order is done to kill bacteria in DRINKING water. As long as you did not drink the water you should be ok. Also you used the universal precaution by washing your hands with bottled water and soap which helps preventing spread of ALL germs (bacteria and viruses.) ...Read more

Actually, I would : Recommend that you go to the er since this is a sunday. I see abscess written down as condition. If this is an abscess it may need incision & drainage & to have deeper loculations broken up. Antibiotics are sometimes needed.
