I get a pain in my eye everytime I move it. When the pain happens a big black dot appears in my vision. What could cause something like this?

Inflammaton: Read pain with eye movement can be a sign of a serious eye problem like inflammation of the optic nerve; however, a small back spot or spots are floaters and usually are not anything significant. If it is a large black spot obstruction your vision then it may be bleeding or some other inflamed problem with the retina, then I suggest you be examined by an eye md, that is an ophthalmologist. ...Read more

Had a eye test and eyes seem fine but I keep seeing a black dot in my vision and even when I close my eyes. It stays on one position then goes?

Vitreous floater: It sounds like you have vitreous floaters, little grayish spots of differing shapes in the vitreous cavity of your eye. These increase with aging, myopia, lattice degeneration, and can arise from retinal tears, inflammation, trauma, surgery. The dilated eye examination is important to rule out serious causes that need treatment. As long as this has been done, just monitor for change. ...Read more

I was looking at my eyes and I noticed a red vein with a black dot at the end of it. I also noticed a balck dot in my otherother eyewatisit?

Likely benign: More than likely you are seeing something related to the small blood vessels of the eye. Unless you are having irritation, pain, or other symptom it is probably nothing to worry about. However, if symptoms, or if it changes see someone. Foreign bodies, and small blood vessel injuries can cause such spots. ...Read more

There's a black dot when I see fr. My left eye. My eye dr. Said it will go by itself. It's been years now& there are now more black dots in my vision.

Takes a while: I am guessing that your ophthalmologist (not an optometrist I hope) evaluated your eye including a dilated retinal examination. Since nothing therapeutic was recommended, you are probably having changes with age in your vitreous, which commonly includes the development of floaters in the vision. The fluids move very slowly and it can take years for some spots to disappear. ...Read more

So I have red veins in my eyes I think because I played my Xbox one a lot but I stopped yesterday and I've grown like a little black dot on a vein?

Should I be concerned if I have sudden bouts of blindness, described as a large black dot covering eye followed by a headache and heightened senses?

When I'm wearing white clothes I saw small black spot in my visionbefore it was 3 in my left eye now both have it and have a plenty small black spot?

Floaters: It sounds as if you have had a posterior vitreous detachment. This is a situation where the vitreous (jelly) of the eye detaches (not a retinal detachment), it then "crumples" up leaving dots, spots, strands of blurry vitreous; i.e. The "floater". You should have an exam to ensure the incident did not tear the retina, which could lead to a retinal detachment. Wait one year then consider surgery. ...Read more
