Possibly: Usually reaction or activity is more related to hormonal (example thyroid and blood glucose levels), general health (age, weight, exercise status, presence of sleep apnea, anemia/liver/kidney issues), and cerebral-cognitive issues (level of wakefulness, depression). Nothing by itself: Pulse and BP are just numbers, and mean almost nothing in isolation. More important is the patient...Are they sick? Well? Dizzy? Dehydrated? Feel great? Just had a heart attack? Granted, if a pulse or BP are too low, then doctors might be concerned no matter how they looked, but more important is the "rest of the story". ...Read more

Rush to ER: I presume his BP was at least 20mm higher before. It appears that something is quite wrong (especially with the history of pancytopenia) and needs to be treated immediately . ...Read more
