They haven't been...: Diseases transmitted by mosquitos are largely a problem in tropical climates. The UK has typically experienced only nuisance mosquito bites. However I read that there are concerns about disease carrying mosquitos having entered the country through imported tires from the Far East. I would watch for NHS bulletins regarding this.
