If beta is > 2000, you should see something inside the uterus. This also helps rule out an ectopic pregnancy. See a doctor for this. This cannot be answered online. ...Read more

What does it mean by Thickened Endometrium. Echogenic material with no vascular signal noted in the endometrial and what are its effects?

Phase of cycle: The thickness of the endometrium may reflect the phase of your cycle. You didn't say how thick. The endometrium is abnormally thickened and measures up to 1.2 cm. 72 year old female no bleeding mean? On a X-ray? What are the odds it cancer?

Endometrium: Either ultrasound or some kinds of "x-rays" (a CT for example) can measure endometrial thickening, which may be due to benign causes. The measure you mentioned should be biopsied by a gyn surgeon to make certain the cells are not pre-cancerous, even if there has been no bleeding at this point. See your gyn provider for this fairly soon. ...Read more

Diagnosed with 1.9 CM thickened endometrium. I thought I started my period but I'm only spotting. Will I need any kind of medical procedure to fix It?

Depends: 1.9cm thickened endometrium at your age is not bad. I do not have any information on your menstrual cycles. If your menstrual cycles are irregular you may need an endometrial biopsy to make sure you do not have endometrial hyperplasia (precancer cells in your endometrium). If you have normal regular cycles it is not that crucial. You may need an ultrasound at the end of your period to decide. ...Read more
