Will minoxidil get on my pillow after application when I sleep onto my face and cause unwanted facial hair?

Might as well: Say yes.
While this is possible from the pillow, the amount rubbed in is also enough to give effects All over even wtihout direct contact. However, it does NOT cause hair to grow where there is not already the potential for hair growth... increased beard and mustache sure... hairy eyeballs, no, not possible. ...Read more

Alopecia?: There is a condition called alopecia which causes the hair to fall out. This is different from male pattern baldness which is genetic and not a disorder. It can be in patches or the entire body. A dermatologist can tell you if you have alopecia (an autoimmune disorder) and treat it. Peace and good health. ...Read more

I have pain in neck and that pain if I sleep using a head pillow. What should be done?

You may want to consult a chiropractor or a dr. Who may recommend some type of neck exercises or some physical therapy. The neck issues may be caused by something unrelated to your pillows so get checked. ...Read more

Since I was a child, I bang my head on my pillow to self sooth, to sleep. Never seen a doctor about it. I'm 34 and still do it. Any info would help.

Not broke/don't fix: I'll agree it sounds peculiar but if it works for you why worry about it. Per-sleep rituals are common to all of us, but most just decide to give it up, get in bed, get into position and let go. If you are embarrassed by what you do you need to find an unrelated therapist and explore the issue. Perhaps they could help you alter the pattern to something that feels right. ...Read more

I have feeling of blood running into my head when sleeping and when I increase pillow height I feel comfortable. I have spondilitis is that the reason?

Maybe heart problem: Sounds like maybe raising the head helps blood drain, which might imply a kind of poor flow into or thru the heart. Do neck veins get big (jvd) without the pillows? Spondylitis is too general a term -is this referring to arthritis in the c-spine? If so I can't see how this would be directly related. Please provide more specific and descriptive detail about symptoms and other existing problems. ...Read more

Neck and chest and left side of head itch no swollen or rash help please??? sleep on furry pillows and use baby lotion and wash with dove and nivea

Skin irritation: Focalized itching without rash is rarely due to underlying organ disease. I suspect skin irritation (sun coming through car window, the furry pillow, etc). Try changing both the pillow and the lotion. Rec fragrance-free non-alcohol containing lotion such as Vanicream, Eucerin or CeraVe. Use 2-3 times daily and always after bathing. ...Read more

Could sleeping on a poor pillow be the cause of tight neck muscles and tight muscles throughout the head? Have very poor posture also.

Could sleeping on a poor pillow be the cause of tight neck muscles and tight muscles throughout the head? Have very poor posture also.

Maybe? But see a doc: Many things can cause neck pain. Certainly sleeping on a pillow that's not the right fit for you can cause such things. I note that you talk about foot numbness in "conditions". That raises the possibility of disc issues in your back, and possibly your neck. To further assess that, you really need a good physical examination and some imaging to look into the issue. Please see your doctor soon. ...Read more

Can shaving your head hair cause hair growth?

Shaving hair: NO, shaving does not "cause" hair growth.
