Hard wooden floor: No it is not safe nor wise! If you can get the beds you will do, OK. If you cannot do that please see your doctor and there will be some way where you can find a reasonable bed. Yes, it will cost money but that could be over a fairly long time. ...Read more

Not familiar: I am not familiar with this antihistamine, it is not widely used in the US, but it appears to be similar to benadryl, (diphenhydramine) with a similar side effect profile. If it seems to help it is ok to use sparingly, your dose is correct for her age. Just watch out for sleepiness, or jitteryness, which can happen with any of the antihistamines in this class.
