Use good sleep: Hygiene. Retire & rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark & cool & use only for sex & sleep. Turn off tv. No naps. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs & no alcohol or tobacco w/i 2 hrs of sleep. Keep dinner moderate sized & finish at least 2 to 3 hrs before sleep. Could be any:
Any of these could cause itching (though Benadryl least likely). I advise stopping Metformin and Simvastatin for a few days, and presuming itching stops then add Metformin back to see if itching resumes. If itching did not stop try stopping Benadryl.
There is NO evidence Simvastatin is ever beneficial for women under any circumstances and it can be quite toxic.

Headaches: I suspect muscle contraction tension headaches which are often dull and occurring daily. Accompanying nausea isn't unusual. Chronic fatigue is frequently due to chronic tension.
