Yes and NO: It suggests the student is not getting enough sleep at night. Sleep is very important to perform well in the day time. When you require naps it is probably due to poor sleep. About 9 hours is a good amount of sleep every night. If he is getting 9 hours then the quality of sleep may be a problem. I would ask myself..: ... 1) how many calories are you limiting yourself to? 2) are you "grazing " throughout the day to keep up your blood sugar levels? 3) are you eating balanced meals ensuring enough proteins, carbohydrates and healthy fats? I take 100mg of Modafinil when I don't sleep enough to stay wakeful throughout the day but 4 hours later the effects are gone. Is it normal? Should I try a full dose 200mg ?

Sleep: Why? You have not told us anything about yourself, not even your age or medical history or medications or what your symptoms are and why you are taking the sudafed and nyquil.
