Call cardiologist : With severe cardiomyopathy and a crt-d, you can't assume a simple or harmless cause for any kind of dizziness. We used to believe that heart problems wouldn't produce vertigo-type dizziness, but recent studies have proven that assumption false. Depends: There are a number of things that can happen as far as side effect like mild pain, teeth not fitting together in the morning, and possible tooth movement. Follow up care is key to improving the success rate. Not all patients find success. Head : Head of the bed elevation can be helpful for osa especially if other options are not possible. Studies have shown that it can decrease the ahi but usually not enough to completely normalize it. You could consider having her do a portable sleep study or in-lab psg while sleeping with the head elevated to determine exactly how much effect it has on her severity of osa. ...Read more

Treat osa first: Do the simplest thing first. Get an oral appliance (from a dentist familiar with sleep apnea) to treat the sleep apnea. The memory loss and feeling tired may be related to this. MRI very sensitive: Just because you have something in the sinus, it does not mean it is the cause of your symptoms. Retention cysts are common. Does light or sound bother you when you have the headache? Do you have visual changes before the headache comes? If so you may have migraine. ...Read more

Sleep study?: Did you officially have a sleep study? Seems you have tried a lot of remedies to try and help, but need to know for sure. CPAP is the "gold standard" of care, but dental mouthpieces for snoring and mild sleep apnea are very effective. ...Read more
