All can be fine: This is hard to answer. It depends on the quality of the shoe, how well it fits the shape of your foot and, most importantly, how well it feels. As a rule, the thicker the sole, the stiffer the shoe, the better the support, the better the shoe is for you. It does mean that other shoes are bad. Gel heel liner: There are so many shapes and sizes of feet that shoe manufacturers cannot possibly make shoes for every need. What i would recommend you do is find a shoe that fits your toes and then purchase a gel heel liner that goes into the back of the shoe to help snug the shoe around the heel. Foot Drop Shoes: The only shoe type I have ever found useless for some of my patients with drop foot is some stable heel.
