Keep a diary of what you ate or what you were doing when the itchy bumps appeared. For relief Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is helpful but may cause drowsiness. Doubt it.: Chronic red bumps are seldom an infection, MRSA or otherwise - infections are usually active entities that make their presence known with pain, tenderness, & swelling. That said, a chronic indolent infection can't be ruled out without an exam.
