See Dermatologist: It is nearly impossible to make a diagnosis of a skin eruption without looking at the area. Seek help of a dermatologist in your area.

This: This is very challenging to answer without a clinical examination so I would recommend you see a dermatologist. It could be many possibilities, including tinea versicolor (common on the back), eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, folliculitis, fungal infection, or other possibilities. Read more about these conditions at the link below. I hope that helps a little!

Could be shingles: (: Even though herpes zoster/shingles is uncommon in younger people your age, it can happen. The pain comes first; then the blistering rash can occur a few days later. The burning nature of your pain raises suspicion for this. See your doctor ASAP; anti-viral medications may be useful to shorten the course/reduce your symptoms. Best wishes:)

Everything or: Nothing. Literally everyone gets back pain. If it is localized to the back, then, you're in the 90% where it is the muscles and NOT a disk http://www. Nerdpocalypse. Net/back%20pain. Html

Wife had MRI with contrast dye yesterday. Has blotchey rash predominantly on chest, low back, and abdomen. Skin is warm. Face was swollen, has subsided. Took allegra (fexofenadine) yesterday & today. Worry?

Improving: If her symptoms are improving on Allegra (fexofenadine) there should be no permanent harm. It is important that you report this allergic reaction to the radiology department and to your physician so that this contrast agent will not be used on you in the future. In addition see to it that this allergy is listed in your records.

Early shingles??: Not certain, but it does sound like local nerve irritation, especially because of the super-sensitivity. If a rash breaks out from here, see MD right away, I would be concerned you might be immune-suppressed. Of course other ailments could cause, and be very benign. Also, if it is shingles, earlier the treatment, the better. This is always perplexing. Get well. Happy New Year.

I suffer with mild wear and tear in lower back but lately as the pain has got worse I e started to get a rash all over my back, arms. And chest.?

I suffer with mild wear and tear in lower back but lately as the pain has got worse I e started to get a rash all over my back, arms. And chest.?

You have 2 issues: I don't think the 2 issues are related. The back issues is super common and just requires heat, massage, stretching, a chiro, acupuncture and pt. See my other pain answers. The rash will have to be seen my your doc to id. A rash requires the "eyeball" test. One has to see it to make any assumptions as to what it might be.

First I thought it was bed bugs so I bought the mattres cover cause I was itching everywhere and has rash all over my body but it went away. But I still itch in some spot of my body like my arms, wrist, butt, left inner thigh, lower back?

May be scabies: It could be another type of infestation like scabies or fleas. However, a mattress cover is not going to prevent bed bugs if you are infested with them. Other possibilities include an allergic reaction to a lotion, soap or laundry detergent.

I have rashes on my lower back, shoulders, abs and inside of my thighs, also ring worm on hand, what does this mean? (the rashes aren't visable)

I have rashes on my lower back, shoulders, abs and inside of my thighs, also ring worm on hand, what does this mean? (the rashes aren't visable)

Rash: I think the rash would dissipate when your ringworm is treated. Often a infection or irritation in one area of the body will stimulate you to have a rash elsewhere. Get the ringworm treated and the rash should resolve.

29f few bumps in nose. Have grown into large white masses over a week. Swollen lymph, small patchy rashes, lower back pain. Should I be seen?

Nasal polyps?: I'm having some trouble visualizing your description, but maybe you have nasal polyps? Regardless, a physician needs to evaluate you and examine the nose. Enlarging mass in the nasal cavity should be seen, particularly in the context of changing lymph nodes, should be seen. I suspect nasal polyps and/or infection may be the cause and both require treatment.

Sciatica pain for 2 months consistently. Now a pink rash on lower back and buttocks. What could this be?

Sciatica pain for 2 months consistently. Now a pink rash on lower back and buttocks. What could this be?

Shingles?: The dermatomes l4, l5, s1 and s2 (racepinephrine) go over the buttocks region on the way down to the leg. Shingles typically follow dermatome pattern, therefore it is quite likely that it can be over the buttocks region.

Not penicillin: Penicillin allergy causes a rash all over entire skin. If you need diagnosis and appropriate treatment, see a dermatologist. The information you supply is not sufficient for any other comment.

Tough to Dx: This is tough to DX over the computer, especially with no rash, etc. You need to see your dr. For a good history and clinical exam to help diagnose your issue. Good luck.

I am having pain in my lower back, around the kidney and have also recently had a rash?

Get it Checked!: Pain located in a specific skin distribution followed by a rash can be associated with shingles so get it checked.
