No diarrhea: I cannot recall ever seeing a case where diarrhea was involved. They can occur simultaneously for a number of reasons but it is not a listed symptom. I would ignore the rash. It comes up from the inside so outside creams or treatments don't help. The rash may flare with a warm bath or play outside and can persist for weeks. Go to pediatrician: I don't know how old your son is, but there are so many causes of diarrhea, most of which is virus which may not need treatment with antibiotics but the vomiting and diarrhea is concerning for dehydration and shock. Why are you getting B12 injections? Could the symptoms be the underlying illness for which you are getting B 12 injections? It would be prudent to discuss the matter with the doctor who prescribed B 12 injections.
