Then someone other than a podiatrist starts picking and digging at it to try and remove it. If it isn't directly visible, it's either a formidable task or ends up a Pyrrhic victory. Plantar fascitiis?: Don't be fooled. It is possible you have platar fascittis which is a common source of heel pain. It is not visible as the ligamnet that is hurting is in the foot and not on the outside of your foot. Try icing it, wear arch supports or orthotics in your shoes to support the ligament. Stretch your feet before getting out of bed in the morning. You can take an antiinflammatory if pain is severe. ...Read more

I had surgery 10 days ago. i had skin graft from hip and it was placed on foot. its a large section of heel. Could this cause swollen glands in neck?

No: A skin graft to heel taken from hip places the surgery below the umbilical area where nodes to groin in rare instances may show enlargement. I suspect this is a free split thickness graft that requires immobilization of leg and foot to keep graft in place until healing occurrs.
