Skin Flap In Front Of Tonsil
Probably nothing.: Unless you have a huge oral laceration we tend not to stitch up lacerations in the mouth because of the significant increase in sense of infection. The mouth is a really really dirty place. If you think the laceration is very large and then you should go to the emergency room and have it stitched but make sure you get covered with antibiotics. ...Read more

Have painless movable very small lumps front bottom inside of mouth some same skin colour some slightly white. Been about a week no change in size
The good news..: ..is that they are movable and painless. The white part is not so good...that may be something called leukoplakia, often related to smoking. If you smoke, most important thing is to stop. You should be concerned about lumps in your mouth if they enlarge, bleed, last longer than 1-2 weeks, are painful. So you can continue to watch them another week, and if they persist, see dentist/oral specialist ...Read more
What could be causing the roof of my mouth and inside gum-line to be like "sandpaper"? I first felt this roughness 2 days ago. It is not painful. However today I noticed a small lump of irritated skin attached just about an inch below the front inside o
The roughness and patches in your mouth can be attributed to a couple of things - and infection or a reaction to a type of food you ate.
Foods - some people experience excoriation of oral membranes if eating a food that they are sensitive to. For instance, if you eat a fruit that is highly acidic such as kiwi, it can be irritating to the mouth. Some people experience sensitivity to spicy foods or cinnamon flavored candy/food. This is resolved by avoiding foods that can cause irritation.
Infection - there are fungi that reside in our bodies that may grow out of control if our immune system is affected or decreased. One infection that can occur in the mouth is called "thrush, " caused by the fungus, candida. This infection is manifested by red or white, irritated patches in the mouth. It can be treated with otc topical solutions, but please note that healing could take a couple of weeks. It will be important to follow up with your doctor if symptoms persist, despite otc treatment. Oral cancers and other infections have similar early symtpoms, as you are currently experiencing. ...Read more

Normal: It may be normal to have some discharge or tonsillar exudate, that resides in crypts within the tonsils. I recently had my tonsils and uvula taken out, I have a large flap of skin left on one side but the other side there's nothing, did he miss a tonsil?
No: It sounds like you had a uppp or uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, a surgery for obstructive sleep apnea. It is not that unusual for the sutures on one side to pull away, as the closure sometimes has to be tight to pull all the tissue together. When that happens one side of your throat could look different than the other, more of a "pocket" where the tonsil used to be. Ask your surgeon about it. ...Read more

See your doctor: Many things can cause a tonsil to swell, even persistently.
