Cold feeling of skin: Any cause of peripheral neuropathy like that from Diabetes or B12 deficiency can do that. Problems with vasculature like vasoconstriction in Raynaud's, for example, can leave extremities feeling cold and numb. Sounds like Eczema: Could be eczema which can get worse over time. Avoid long hot showers and harsh and drying cleansers. Apply fragrance-free moisturizer like Vanicream. Use at least twice a day. For eczema flares, apply prescription strength corticosteroid ointments to problem areas twice a day until clear. Dark skin can improve over time with proper treatment. ...Read more

Irritation: Irritation is usually the reason we itch. Were you doing something when this started, does it happen after you start something, it could be caused by your soap or shampoo and many other reasons. Use otc antihistamin cream. Light pink patches: Without seeing the skin, it is difficult to make a diagnosis. However, the lesions could be an an allergic contact dermatitis which would be treated with prescription cortisone cream. If you were in the sun, the rash could be caused by a photo drug reaction. It sounds: Suspiciously like a "neuropathy" (nerve malfunction which has MANY possible causes. I suggest strongly that you not ignore this but see your Primary Care Provider will perform some initial studies and may refer you to a NEUROLOGIST for further diagnosis etc

Dry skin?: Depending on where you live and time of year, winter itch or dry skin can be a problem. Applying moisturizer several times a day may be helpful. If no improvement after a week, see your doctor for evaluation. Could also be a sign of allergy even with no rash. OTC antihistamine may help. My lower legs get very itchy at random times. When I scratch them, the skin turns very red, hives apper, and my legs can feel burning. Help?

Chronic Urticaria: Although you need to see a doctor for a valid diagnosis, it sounds as if you are suffering from chronic urticaria (hives). This may be relieved by taking a daily antihistamine such as zyrtec (cetirizine).
