Probable 2 degree: You might have a second degree burn, which can cause localized swelling, discoloration, warmth and pain. A blister is very common in this type of burn. Do not puncture it, since it is sterile inside the blister. Also recommend, ice to area initially, and put antibiotic ointment on area, + clean daily Will need Tetanus shot if last one over 10 years. Identify the cause: More information would be very helpful - did you injure yourself? Many times friction type injury will cause blistering. Burns, frost bites could cause blistering. Any other symptoms, any joint issues underneath that blister? Is it getting better, or worse? Any other associated symptoms? ...Read more
