Pregnancy (Definition)

Ultrasound at 6weeks 2days pregnant shows gestational sac, yolk sac, fetal pole n heartbeat (133bpm).
What are the chances of miscarriage after this?

Risk is decreased: The fact the fetal pole has a heartbeat is very good and encouraging. However, the risk of miscarriage is still present until 12-13 weeks. That is why most celebrities do not release statements about pregnancy, due to the fact that miscarriage can happen. Twins pregancy at 22 weeks with cervix lenght of 2.2 cm and U Shape. What are the odd of miscarriage before 34 weeks and advises?

Studies on prophylactic measures like bed rest, cervical cerclage, progesterone supplementation are also controversial. Consult a MFM doctor, specialist in twins. ...Read more

Vaginal ultrasound did not detect heartbeat at 6 weeks 4 days. Seen the sac and embryo. Risk of miscarriage?

50/50: At this point i would say your chances are about 50/50. A vaginal sonogram at 6 weeks and 4 days can usually see a heartbeat; but if your dates are off a little, it could be too early. As long as you aren't having a lot of pain or heavy bleeding, waiting a week and rechecking the sonogram is probably best. ...Read more
