Dry Nasal Passages: Try leaning over a steaming bowl of water with a towel covering your head & the bowl & breath the steam in - that can hydrate the passages. As long as any discharge is clear you are OK. Also, NaSal or a sinus wash may be useful (most pharmacies carry both) or running a humidifier will help. Possibly, +: It is certainly possible that your nasal passages are reacting to environment at night, such as pillow, down blanket, dusty carpet, mites or other dust particles floating around.
