It shouldn't: In theory, if you have a huge amount of mucus, that can pass through into your stool and cause diarrhea, but usually this is only seen in infants and children. But many viruses, such as adenovirus and enterovirus can cause runny nose (not a sinus infection) and loose stool, so something like this could account for your symptoms. ...Read more
Severe sinusitis, taking cefdinir 600mg. Sinuses blocked by tonsils and other inflammation/grey areas on CT Scan. What symptoms should I keep eye on?

Maybe the grey areas you were seeing were polyps. The cefdinir is an appropriate antibiotic for treatment. Symptoms to monitor would be increasing fever, lethargy, facial and particularly eye swelling. If these occur, visit your closest ER promptly. ...Read more

Started with sinus infection now have respiratory infection and body aches from head to legs. Flu or pneumonia ?
Maybe It's Flumonia: Good question. And could be both. But if, as you say, it started just in the sinuses and then spread, it's less likely classic flu. And if it spread somehow into your lungs and caused an infection then you'd probably feel pretty bad, so I'd suggest you get examined by a doctor, who will decide what, if any, test(s) he'd decide to get. So, it sounds like it's time to be seen in person! ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
