Why do I have so much sinus pressure. The weather is changing from summer to fall fast and there is so much sinus pressure in the left side of my head?

.: Sinuses usually drain into the nose through ostia. Any inflammation or infection in the nose could block the ostia and cause blockage of the sinus causing fullness and pressure. Try decongestants, steam inhalation or nasal steroids to decrease inflammation.

I have pressure/pain in the right side of head if I lay on that side or on back. Have had tension headaches lately and do have sinus pressure.

Get checked: See a neurologist and have your cranial joints (TM joints, occiput and frontal sinus) for the presence of toxins, pathogens, allergens as the cause of the tension HAs. Make sure you rule out the presence of mold toxins as a factor for the sinus pressure.

Tingling numb pressure on right front side of head, forehead and down cheek. Sinus or something else?

I doubt it is: Sinus congestion or infection. The most common cause of facial tingling is nerve entrapment possibly from trauma/injury. There are also diseases of the nerves themselves from neuropathy (? diabetes) or even multiple sclerosis. Chemical exposures can also impact facial nerves as can migraine. It is typically not an emergency so you can watch/wait a few days. If it doesn't resolve, see your Doctor.

I have sinus pressure on left side of face, ear aches/head sometimes and have dried bloody boogers in left nostril at times. What is the cause of this?

I have sinus pressure on left side of face, ear aches/head sometimes and have dried bloody boogers in left nostril at times. What is the cause of this?

MY ACHING HEAD: Sinuses are air-filled structures in our heads that warm & filter the air we breathe while decreasing the weight of our skull. When inflamed and filled with mucus, it is like having heavy, water balloons pressing on your face from the inside (ouch). Consider antihistamines (Cetrilizine) and/or decongestants (Pseudoephedrine). If not improving, consult me and we'll figure it out together.

MayHaveDeviatedSeptu: It seems you may have deviated septum which may be causing the blockage of one side of nose and/or severe allergic rhinitis You can only know what it is by getting it checked by your Doctor or an ENT Specialist and if indicated may need a referral to an Allergist

I have a whooshing sound in my left ear. Also feels like that ear is clogged and have a lot of sinus pressure on that side. What's the sound??

Ear sound: It may be that you have too much earwax in your ear (s). There may be a feeling of fullness on that side and decreased hearing. There are over the counter ear wax removal kits that you can try with drops that soften the wax and a bulb syringe to flush it out the ear. You can also see an ENT specialist to check your ears or if you have fever, pain in your ears, discharge from the ears.

What can I do for sinus pressure so bad that it hurts to tilt my head?

AFrin (oxymetazoline)?: Before you see your doctor, you could try afrin (oxymetazoline) nasal spray--follow package directions and avoid usage for more than 2-3 days at a time. Saline nasal spray can help. Oral decongestants such as sudafed may help--follow package directions. Once you see the doctor, they can evaluate and manage your condition and provide any prescription treatments needed.

Cough: Sounds like a viral illness with bronchitis and sinus issues. The cough in bronchitis can go on for a month. If its persistent you should get a chest xray and make sure you don't have pneumonia. You might need antibiotics. For the sinus part, steam, saline sprays and OTC decongestants help (dont take them late or you will be up all night)

How to get rid of sinus pressure in head and neck?

How to get rid of sinus pressure in head and neck?

Sinus pressure: Sinus pressure would be in your face, cheeks, behind your eyes or in your fore head. It would not be in your neck. If you have sinus pressure, then it will respond to decongestants and possibly antihistamines if the obstruction is due to allergic inflammation. If there is an infection, you may need antibiotics. If OTC treatments don't relieve your pressure, please consult an ENT.

What is the best way to relieve sinus pressure in head. Have a cold and when I blow my nose I feel pressure in back of head and all over?

What is the best way to relieve sinus pressure in head. Have a cold and when I blow my nose I feel pressure in back of head and all over?

Sinus rinsing: Nasal rinsing/neti-pot saline rinse is a very effective FIRST line remedy for acute sinus issues (I usually recommend chitorhino (chitorhino. Com). You may want to consider a short course of nasal decongestants like Afrin or neosynephrine - but use these for no more than 3 days. A "cold" that lasts more than 7-10 days is a sinus infection by definition - antibiotics are needed at that point.
