Inflammation: What you described is consistent with inflammation of the nasal sinuses. It the issue does not resolve in a week, it would be prudent to see an ENT specialist. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Possibilities....: Your breathing difficulties are likely due to bronchospasm. The bronchospasm could be due to post-nasal drip (or other sinus problems) and/or reflux.
