Experiencing sinus pain/he aches, neck pain, vision issues, extreme sleepiness. Right side eye pain and ear pain. Ear feels full or stuffy. Ideas?
Possibly migraine: You are having a migraine issue. The ear pain may be from teeth clenching or grinding partly related to your anxiety or less likely an inner ear infection. You need to talk to your doctor and get examined. Glaucoma should be ruled out as the cause for the eye pain- get the eye pressure checked since it may lead to permanent loss in vision if left untreated. Good luck.
Been sick 6 days w/ sore throat, sinus pain, earache, &dry cough. Last 2 days only have dry cough + minor throat/ear sinus pain. How long will last?
Sick: Generally ten days if viral, unless you get reinfected. If not better after 10-14 days, best to see internist.
Earache: Earache is most often due to pressure in the eustachian tube as the normal ventilating air is reabsorbed due to obstruction and the tube collapses and generates a negative pressure (like suction) stretching the ear drum and sucking it inwards. This is uncomfortable. The same congestion that causes sinusitis can cause blockage of the eustachian tube so these conditions often go together.
Sounds like a virus: You are describing a upper respiratory infection. Many of these can last several weeks before your feel normal. It is also possible that you have caught a second one. Try some OTC sinus medication (generic Clartin-D) for the pressure and postnasal drip. See a doctor if things worsen.

There: There are a few things you can do to treat a cold caused by an upper respiratory virus. - voice rest - probably the best thing you can do for a sore throat and raspy voice. - drink plenty of fluids and stay hydrated - hot tea with honey and lemon - chicken noodle soup - our grandmas were right! Research shows that chicken noodle soup is very helpful in treating a cold. - or just a spoon-full of honey - honey has been shown to be as effective a cough suppressant as many over the counter medications - inhale steam from a shower or cool mist from a vaporizer - Acetaminophen and/or Ibuprofen can help with inflammation and throat, ear and sinus pain symptoms from a cold virus should start to improve after a few days. If it does not, of if she gets worse or has any difficulty breathing, call her doctor. You should also call her doctor if the sore throat worsens (could be strep) or if her ear pain worsens (ear infection) or for any new fevers or rash.
Sinusitis can do it: When the sinuses are inflamed, they can cause different things to occur: headache, plugged ears, stuffed nose, feeling like your teeth hurt. So yes, if the maxillary sinuses are inflamed, it could feel like it's near the ears, or inside the ears. If you're experiencing a high level of discomfort, see your doctor, so they can do a full head, ears, eyes, nose, throat examination, and give you more information about this.
Cause of pain?: An ENT specialist can examine you and determine if he\she feels the problem is coming from your ear or sinuses. A dentist can determine if it's coming from your teeth. A sinusitis (not ear infection) can seem like tooth pain but not vice versa. As a dentist, we use medical history, dental history, details of chief complaint and numerous tests to help us determine the cause of the symptoms.See 1 more doctor answer

What is the relation between the sinus pain and the toothache? And there is any effect with pain in an ear on tooth?
Sinus/tooth pain: The upper back teeth and the maxillary sinus are often linked when one or the other are inflamed for infected. Additionally, dental pain often radiates (or is referred) to neighboring anatomical structures and can be perceived as ear pain. Also, the jaw joint is directly in front of the ear, which can refer pain to the teeth. Accurate diagnosis can prevent unnecessary dental procedures.See 2 more doctor answers
Throat infection?: Sounds like it could be a throat/tonsil infection. May need to get on some antibiotics. Not typical for sinus infection.
Ok, if pain gone.: What has probably happened is that When you use the sinus rinse you may have used slightly too much pressure. This can sometimes force salt water up to your eustachian tube and up into your middle ear. This is not uncommon. Also, if your eustachian tube was blocked the salt water could have reduced some of the swelling around the opening and help you relieve pressure in your from your middle ear.See 1 more doctor answer
