Bad taste: Bad taste can come from various sources. First get a thorough dental exam. If there are no dental or oral problems, check with an ENT specialist. Smoking, diet, acid reflux, and drugs all can cause taste problems.

What is best treatment for kids bad smelling mouth? What is sinus infection in kids?

See the dentist: A bad odor from a child's mouth can be from a number of things. It could be anything from halitosis due to a coated tongue, to tooth decay, to some other systemic disease. Please have the child examined by a dentist to determine if the problem is orally based or from some other disease. The sooner you have the child checked, the sooner the problem will be solved.

Infected Tooth: Abscessed maxillary (upper) posterior tooth perhaps. Were any diagnostic films taken and were you given any recommendations or an rx at all?

Can a sinus infection be bad enough to infect my mouth and facial bones but I don't cough or sneeze a lot, or have a fever? Bloody nose some mornings.

Can a sinus infection be bad enough to infect my mouth and facial bones but I don't cough or sneeze a lot, or have a fever? Bloody nose some mornings.

Usually not: This sounds like something much more than a typical sinus infection. Sounds like you need to see a doctor and possibly get a ct scan of the facial bones and/or sinus.

Had sinus infection since July. Doc put me on Loratadine since antibios weren't working. Soon as I take med pain middle of head. Not there before. Bad?

Sinus: Probably a side effect of the drug. I'd stop it. That drug is used for allergies not sinus infection. If you have no fever might be allergies or chronic sinusitis. Although you can try a sinus rinse you should see an ENT to fully evaluate it

Connected: When having bad sinus infection, the upper back teeth gets very sensitive to changes of temperature and pressure as there roots are in very close proximity to the floor of that infected sinus, it well all resolve as soon as sinus infection goes away, just keep a good oral hygiene and take your Ned's for the sinus infection and all well be good;)

Let your dr know: Referred pain patterns from the sinuses can go to different parts of the head / scalp. It's best to contact your doctor and let them know what you're experiencing. They may need to give you something that will help you feel better, plus document your symptoms. Hope you feel better soon!

Maybe migraine?: Headaches caused by sinus infection are typically not severe and rather more nagging. However, sinus infection can trigger migraine headaches which can be quite severe for some folks. So, if your headaches are so severe and persistent, I would advise consulting doc for eval and treatment. Good luck.

Your: Your sinuses may be draining, or you may be getting another infection. You can try saline nasal spray, and a humidifer or even a steam room to clear this up. There are also "netti pots", which you can ask your pharmacist about that can help drain your sinuses. If a patient has persistent sinus pain, fever, or vomiting, then they should consult with their physician.

I have a sinus infection for 4 months. Bad smell in my nose for a year. Bad headaches, face hurts from my upper lip to my head, when I sniffle it feel?

ENT consult: Persistent sinus symptoms greater than 3 months indicates the possibility of chronic sinusitis with or without underlying allergic rhinitis. Prolonged treatment with antibiotics, mucolytics and nasal saline may be indicated. Additionally an Otolaryngologist (ENT) may order a sinus CT scan and possibly allergy testing. End point therapy may include immunotherapy (allergy shots) or sinus surgery.

Treat Sinusitis: You may have a repeat Sinusitis. Needs two weeks of antibiotic treatment for full resolution.
Start w PCP and get a complete check up. No need to suffer. If no results see an ENT, Neurologist specialists in this area.

Is it possible for a deep sinus infection to cause a swollen jaw and the back gums and teeth on one side to hurt really bad?

Is it possible for a deep sinus infection to cause a swollen jaw and the back gums and teeth on one side to hurt really bad?

Could Be: Actual swelling (that is look in the mirror and your face is puffy) from a sinusitis is not very common, but can occur in severe cases. Dental pain due to sinusitis is quite common and is usually focused in the upper back teeth. A bad tooth can mimic a sinusitis as well...or even cause sinusitis on rare occasions. Your dentist should be able to determine the source and treat/refer as needed.
