Need to be seen: you may very well have severe middle ear infection and possibly perforated ear drum given what you described, put a cotton plug in the draining ear, take pain killers and go to your doctor, ER / Urgent Care for evaluation and possibly antibiotics and other medications accordingly, good luck ...Read more

Evidence suggests that nasal lavage can help reduce symptoms of acute sinusitis. I suggest the following: Force fluids x 8-10 glasses/day: 50% electrolyte rich fluids, 50% clear broth, bullion, consume .Warm water gargles, nasal saline mist, hot tea and honey, Hot steam showers, Cold-Eze Lozenges, Tylenol 1-2 TABLETS every 4-6 hours as needed for fever greater than 100. Sinusitis?: You could have a blocked or infected sinus that might respond to decongestants and perhaps additional antibiotic treatment. It is unlikely an infection has extended into the brain area, but it happens sometimes, so don't take chances. Contact your doctor ASAP. Good luck! ...Read more
