Not really: Minor partial-thickness burns will heal on their own, given good wound care. Keep the wound clean and apply antibiotic ointment to it until healed. Use simple pain meds, such as Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen for discomfort. If it does not heal or seems like it's getting infected, you should seek medical care. ...Read more

My 14 month old grand daughter wont drink milk! around 8mnths old only drank 8-16oz formula/day and since we transitioned, wont drink any. Eats table food drinks water/juuce. Is this unhealthy?
Juice is not needed: Carrying around a Sippy cup or bottle, sipping juice ad-lib or falling asleep with a bit in her mouth causes cavities. If she missed a 1 yr. dental check-up, take her now. Wean from bottle before 15 mos., or she'll protest more. If she doesn't drink 16 oz./day of whole milk from an open-mouth cup with meals or eat 16 oz./day dairy foods, she may need a calcium supplement. Will 2 table spoons of apple cider vinegar in 8oz of distilled water for 3 months help with plague in your arteries?
Possibly but...: Apple cider vinegar is touted as a miracle cure for many things including arterial plaque. I believe it has many health benefits but know of no scientific evidence that it clears plaque. There is limited evidence it may lower cholesterol & it may also reduce lead levels as a mild chelator; these properties may help plaque, but it would take more than 3 months. Vit k & glisodin may help even more. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I feel pain in my legs, it is due to the loss of salt from the body, bcuz of the warm climate here. Can i drink water mixed with table salt?
Wrong diagnosis: It is very unlikely that low sodium has anything to do with leg pains. You should see your doctor for a correct diagnosis before you start treating. The typical american diet has much too much salt and adding table salt to your drinking water is an unhealthy idea. In addition if you are taking Ibuprofen it already makes you retain sodium. ...Read more
