When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
I had an ultrasound at 6weeks 3 days pregnant. The doc could see intrauterine gestational sac and yolk sac and told me to come after 10 days. Normal?
Yes.: The fetus should be visualized on the next ultrasound.
Single live intrauterine gestation of 12 week with low lying placenta... what is the meaning of this?
I am 8.5 weeks of pregnant & I've done u/s today and the reports is - single intrauterine gestation sac of 6 weeks, fatal pole not seen. Plz suggest?
Get hCG levels: Measured approximately 3 days apart and a followup ultrasound in a couple of weeks (if the HCG levels are rising). Also, was the u/s transvaginal, or transabdominal? Transvaginal can see smaller structures sooner than transabdominal.
What happens if an intrauterine gestation is not detected through a transvaginal or ultrasound what does that mean?
U/s:single intrauterine gestation sac & fetal pole crown2rump 0.53cm 6w3d + or - a wk no yolk sac/ hb. Nxt u/s i'll be 11wk. Should I worry? Dating off?
A little concerning: More information needed but if a fetal pole is present and can be measured, then a fetal heart beat should seen. If there is just a gestational sac with no fetal pole, then the size of the gestational sac matters. A gestational sac that measures 18mm should have fetus with a heartbeat and if not, then a miscarriage is most probable. Good luck.See 1 more doctor answer

What does it mean of early intrauterine pregnancy 5 weks by gestational sac, yolk sac is. 3m no baby yet, normal? Is my baby show soon?
Fetal pole: 5 weeks is very early to see a fetal pole. Typically at 6 weeks you can see a fetal pole and at 6.5 - 7 weeks you can see a heartbeat by ultrasound.

Work close w/ OBGYN: Considering your history and how much this seems to matter to you, my advice is to develop a really good relationship w/ your OBGYN. Ask these questions and try to stay w/ it until you understand. They want you to relax and take good care of yourself, so it will help all of you. I hope it's fine and you have a good pregnancy, birth and beyond.
On the sonography report, it was notated "intrauterine gestation 17w 6d." is this the actual fetus size? Does intrauterine gestation mean time of fetus in uterus?
Yes -relax.: Intrauterine means that the pregnancy is where it is supposed to be: inside your womb. The estimated gestational age is the result of measurements of the size/weight of the fetus and is pretty accurate before 20 weeks in predicting your due date. Unspecified ectopic pregnancy W/O intrauterine preg. Told a gestational sac and yolk sac was seen between the left ovary and uterus. What that mean?
Tubal pregnancy: If the expanation is accurate, it means that a pregnancy could exist in your tube (left). This would be an "ectopic" pregnancy, and needs to be removed, or your tube may rupture and cause a surgical emergency. Consult your health care professional without delay.
Single intruterine fundal gestational sac is seen with no detectable fetal pole development at 7 weeks 4 days will the baby survive looks like 5weeks?
Less likely: So, the first assumption is that the dating is correct. If you are truly 7+4 weeks, there should be both a fetal pole and a heartbeat. But for various reasons you may be only 5-6 weeks so worth repeating ultrasound to make sure
Hi. Pregnant according to LMP 8 weeks, us findings shows single intrauterine pregnancy of 5 weeks, m.S.D :1.0 cm. But no yolk sac seen. Suggestion plz?
U need a followup US: In 2 weeks as you should see an fetus with a htbeat by then, you have an early missed ab and also the doc could do beta hcgs 3 days apart as the HCG should double in 3 days if a normal iup and should have a normal Progesterone level.
Intrauterine pregnancy with too much pain on left side of abdomen. U/S report said that I'm 5weeks6days pregnant. But there is no fetal pole n heartbeat?
Painful cyst of preg: If painful to cough, that's more serious Need to see MD now not a good sign no heart beat at 5w6d Repeat US in a week to confirm the health of the pregnancy and check for ectopic pregnancy I only ran across once in my 40 years that she had a ectopic with a intrauterine pregnancy.

What does it mean normal size of uterus with thickened endometrial stripe? No evidence of intrauterine pregnancy. Is it possible to get pregnant?
Hi I have anechoic structure with in endometrial canal with signs of intrauterine pregnancy no yolk sac or fetal pole? Is this bad LMP was 12/29
Indefinite: Based on your LMP, you would have conceived mid February and your pregnancy would be 4-5 weeks post conception. This early in pregnancy evidence of a viable pregnancy may or may not be evident on ultrasound. However, if yolk sac & fetal pole aren't visualized, a healthy pregnancy can't be confirmed. If there's any?? ultrasound can be repeated along with HCG measurements in another week or so.
