Sudden E.D.: Erectile dysfunction (ED) that occurs with a more sudden onset is often due to new medications. Bisoprolol is just one of many that can cause this. Depending on the arrhthymia your have, there may be alternative meds that have less effect on you in this area. Also consider any new stress/anxiety, perhaps related to your new diagnoses, that can also induce ED. ...Read more

No: Otc Niacin can cause mild increase in sugar- not significant in someone already on insulin. Best form to take is prescription Niaspan (niacin) which after 3 months has no significant increase in sugars. Safe to take either with simvastatin. ...Read more
