Well?: Check a pregnancy tests; simple cysts do not inhibit menses. You still may ovulate fron that ovary or the other but that would result in menstruation. Likely didn't ovulate; make sure your no pregnant. ...Read more

Probably not.: A simple cyst is usually benign and will go away on its own. In fact when you ovulate, the egg is released from a cyst and then the cyst resolves. Cysts do not usually interfere with ovulation. Depending on the size and symptoms of this cyst, your doctor may want to repeat your ultrasound in 6 weeks to insure it has resolved or is not getting bigger or complex appearing. ...Read more
