Depends on age: Most dermoids are benign tumors, but rarely they can be part of malignant tumor. If these cysts change in size based on menstrual cycle, they are not as worrisome. However, you should monitor them closely (as it seems you are). If you are between 15-40, functional cysts are more common. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Second opinion. : It is reasonable to just watch a simple ovarian cyst if it is not causing pain. You are the person who's having to tolerate the pain. Just watch it 4 now: The large majority of women in their 40s have a couple of simple cysts, and little dermoids are familiar and commonplace. Glad you are taking a proactive approach to your health, and thanks for a thoughtful question. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Iam a 28 years old veterinarian, iam pregnant (12 weeks fetus), I have an orange sized simple cyst on my left ovary. What is your advice?
