Is it safe to order silver nitrate sticks online and apply it to a canker sore under my tongue without going to the dentist?
Not good idea: I suppose you could do that, but i would not advise it. Silver nitrate sticks work well for active bleeding, but likely would not do much more that make this sore hurt more and possibly delay healing.Better to rinse with salt water. I had a total hyst. 12/3. I've had Gran. tissue burned w/ silver nitrate 6 x's now. Dr says surgery to cut it out to relieve pain? What do u think?
Baby's stoma (gtube) has mild granulation (does not yet need shaving or silver nitrate). Can mild granulation go away on it's own with proper care?

I burned my lip with silver nitrate & then scrubbed the stain off with salt water, taking lip skin off. I now have a blistered lip. Do i keep it dry?
Science teacher was working with silver nitrate he got some on his nail and it turned brown I think he washed it of will anything toxic happen to him?
