5cm dilated all day i been nausiated, i'm hungry but then i can't eat i'm so thirsty but barely drink? Is this a sign ill be going into labor soon?
Not necessarily: These are not the usual signs of labor. But if you arent drinking you can get dehydrated and cause false contractions. It does sound like you are close since you are dilated to 5 cm. Could it be possible im going into labor if..? I been feeling lower abdomen pains and back pains since last night, exept i happens like every 2 hours for like 15 minutes and then they go away is this a sign of labor?Should i go to the hospital?
In : In a situation like this where you are unsure about going to the hospital, you should call the doctor's office. There will be a doctor or nurse on call that can tell you what to do based on how far along you are, your level of pain, and the frequency and duration of your contractions. Not normal but seen: Constant back pain limiting basic activities of daily living (e.g. Walking or sitting) isn't normal; not even at 40 week of pregnancy. The weight gain, the "basketball" & surge in hormone preparing pelvic bones for delivery may contribute to the problem. Constant severe activity limiting pain should be discussed with ob.
