Want to know the cause of a miscarriage at 20 weeks, ic or water infection, my sac bulged down at that time and im 13weeks pregnant now, really scared.

You need an OB: You need to sit down with an obstetrician and review your history in detail and try to determine if your prior loss is due to cervical insufficiency, a "weak" cervix. If it is, you may be a candidate for a Cervical Cerclage.

I am 20 weeks pregnant and have had dark to light brown discharge on and off all day. I've had 2 miscarriages before and seen this kind thing before!?

Be seen tonight: Brown spotting at 20 weeks most of the time is nothing to worry about, but sometimes it is a signal of the cervix opening without labor. Best to get it checked out. Call your doctor and get seen tonight.

Somewhat: Most weight is usually gained during the 3rd trimester (weeks 29-40). You have already gained 19#. Check with your doctor and watch how much you are eating.

What is the risk of late miscarriage after 20 weeks pregnant with twins?

What is the risk of late miscarriage after 20 weeks pregnant with twins?

High risk: If you miscarriage between 20-23/24 weeks, before viability, there might not be anything doctors can do to save life of the twins. After 24 weeks, if something wrong with the pregnancy, doctors can likely help intervene. The risk of miscarriage depends on many factors. Any health problems you have, any health problems the babies have been diagnosed with. Or problems with placenta or uterus.

At 20 weeks pregnant, w/hx of 2 miscarriages. Is it safe to fly in a non-pressurized airplane for 45min, max elevation 7, 000ft & climb rate of 500'/min?

At 20 weeks pregnant, w/hx of 2 miscarriages. Is it safe to fly in a non-pressurized airplane for 45min, max elevation 7, 000ft & climb rate of 500'/min?

Yes: The real risk in flying is if something happens, you have to find a place to land and find medical help. It is a possible delay. There are many women who live at 7000 ft and are pregnant with no problems. Think vail, or in the rockies. Would discourage inside loops though :).

Can accidentally electrically shocking onself during 2nd trimester of pregnancy ever cause harm to baby or a miscarriage?

Can accidentally electrically shocking onself during 2nd trimester of pregnancy ever cause harm to baby or a miscarriage?

Not if minor: You're asking a theoretical question. Fetal well being can be checked by ultrasound / biophysical profile if you are worried that a recent exposure to electricity caused any harm.

Are cramps in early pregnancy a sign of miscarriage or anything bad?

Are cramps in early pregnancy a sign of miscarriage or anything bad?

Not necessarily.: Cramping in early pregnancy can be normal as the uterus begins to grow and expand. Cramping with bleeding can be a cause for concern. I'd recommend a exam and possible ultrasound if the cramping increases. Hydration is also a good idea.

Is it normal for your pregnancy hormones to drop at 11 weeks. No signs of miscarriage besides that.

Is it normal for your pregnancy hormones to drop at 11 weeks. No signs of miscarriage besides that.

Normal: HCG levels reach a peak at the end of first trimester, so it is normal to see a drop after 11 weeks. Wish you good health and a healthy baby and a happy new year! I hope that for the sake of your and your baby's health you are under the care of a doctor and getting pre-natal care.

What are signs of pregnancy after a miscarriage if you haven't have your first period?

What are signs of pregnancy after a miscarriage if you haven't have your first period?

Back to School: Wow. Perhaps you are in need of a lesson in how your body works. Once the HCG hormone level decreases then your ovaries can reset and begin ovulation for the next cycle. You have already been told here today that this can take weeks to months to be healthy. Conception occurs if there is sperm ready to meet the ovulated egg at the next cycle. Sperm take one to five days to reach this egg.
