Signs Of Implantation After Iui
Could implantation happen 12 days after IUI? I had some brownish mucus when I wiped. What does this mean? I also took a test last night and it was neg
Not likely: Implantation typically happens about 6 days after ovulation occurs so 12 days is a stretch. How certain are you that the IUI occurred at the correct time? Were sonograms being done. Was an HCG trigger shot used? The brownish mucus more likely represents the beginning of your menses (so the IUI didn't work). The negative pregnancy test seems to confirm that. ...Read more
Intrauterine insemination (iui) is where fresh or frozen partner or donor sperm is prepared or 'washed' to increase the sperm quality then gently injected through your cervix after a speculum exam, like a pap smear exam. It should be painless or cause mild cramping only. Iui helps with mild to moderate sperm problems. Iui preparations should have at least 2 million moving ...Read more

Implantation bleed: Implantation bleeding is much more common on the internet than in real life. It occurs rarely and exclusively in someone who is pregnant. The only way to know if someone had implantation bleeding or just irregular menstrual bleeding is to wait and see if you are pregnant. If your test is positive then this was implantation bleeding. If it is negative then it is just irregular menstrual bleeding. ...Read more
Does being over weight make a perfectly times IUI unsuccessful. (eg: prevent implantation...etc)?
Not sure: It can certainly be implantation and cause cramping. It can also be cramping from the ovaries themselves. It can also be a precursor to a period. Not really a good or bad sign at all. ...Read more

Had IUI on 15/9/14. Periof not due until 30th but seeing blood when I wipe since 25th. Could this be implantation bleeding? Im.also taking cycloget
Possible: Wait another week and check first AM urine with home pregnancy test. It could also be dysfunctional uterine bleeding which is common with hormonal shifts even with stress. Trying to conceive can be stressful which works against you. Easier said than done, but try to relax. Many couples conceive after adoption because the pressure is off. Follow up with your fertility specialist, too. Take care. ...Read more

I had cramping at 3 days past IUI and light spotting on day 4 isn't it too early to be implantation?
Ovulation symptoms: It's too early for implantation which happens about a week after conception or iui. If you took fertility drugs like Clomid (clomiphene) or letrozole, cramping may be from ovulating more than one follicle. Spotting can occur from touching the cervix during the IUI procedure, or from a drop in estrogen hormone after ovulation until Progesterone kicks in and stops bleeding. Do a pregnancy test 2 weeks after iui. ...Read more
I am 12 days post my 2nd iui. I started with intermittent mild cramping last night. Could this be implantation or my period coming?
Either: It's incredibly frustrating to go through fertility treatments. Every day that you have to wait for test results seems like an eternity. If there's any way to distract yourself until it's time for your HCG test, you should try. If you're 12 days post IUI now, then it should be very soon! ...Read more

I did IUI 7days ago & have been reading that many women experience implantation bleeding & cramps. I only have sore breasts. Do most women experience it?
Implantation: Implantation of the fertilized egg occurs about seven days after ovulation or IUI. Not every implantation causes bleeding, but mild cramping may occur and you may have just ignored it. Your breasts are probably not sore yet because of pregnancy, but just due to the hormones made in the after ovulation phase of your cycle. ...Read more

Undergoing assisted iui, what can I do to increase my chances of successful impantation, both n, I am 43 we are fertile, 1st IUI failed, try again?
Age is a factor: Being 43 is a factor - you have lower numbers of genetically normal eggs even if your testing looks good. In vitro fertilization (ivf) may be a better option than IUI treatment if you are a good candidate for this type of treatment. Some 43 year olds need to use an egg donor instead of trying with their own eggs. Talk to your doctor about options and success rates. ...Read more
