No: HIV would have probably dropped it far lower. Lymphocyte counts actually fluctuate wildly even from hour to hour. However, the fact that you asked this question tells me you have some reason to be concerned about having HIV, and this is itself a reason to be tested. Misinformed: Cd4 cells are the mangers of the immune system's functions. A high cd4 count represents excellent health and excellent immune function. In no way does any cd4 cell count represent an HIV infection in and of itself. And a high count is even more emphatically not an indication that someone has hiv. ...Read more

Recurrent sore throat with mucus could be due to a number of causes including chronic sinusitis, allergies with associated post nasal drip, reflux, tumors, or simply recurrent viral and or bacterial infections.
