Not that I know: I have not seen any research that shows a link between ultrasounds in pregnancy and autism. Ultrasound is a valuable tool to use in ob, (check dates, position of placenta, growth of baby), but sometimes it is overdone, because it is risk free, and parents like to see pictures, and drs. Confusing question: Are you referring to mom or baby ? If baby, there are some emerging studies that have detected patterns of genetic code alterations in autistic kids who have an affected sibling.
