Probably unrelated: It would be helpful to know what STD you had. The only ones likely to cause urinary symptoms are gonorrhea and chlamydia, but even these wouldn't cause night time urination as the only symptom. If you have painful or urgent urination, or vaginal discharge, see your doctor. Otherwise I doubt this is related to your infection 1-2 months ago. ...Read more

Doubt urethritis: If "inflamed" includes urethral discharge and/or white blood cells, ask the GUM clinic about testing and/or treating for possible Mycoplasma genitalium and trichomonas. If you only have urinary discomfort or a little redness at the opening, with no discharge or increased WBC, probably you have no infection at all.
